Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using ScriptoGen AI at scriptogen.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ScriptoGen AI generates short-form advertising scripts (for example for social video) based on inputs you provide. Features, limits, models, and availability may change. We may modify or discontinue functionality with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

4. Your content

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, and display your inputs solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service—including sending inputs to AI vendors as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that your submissions do not violate third-party rights and that you have the rights needed to provide them.

5. AI outputs and disclaimer

Outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your brand or audience. Outputs are not legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and complying with advertising laws and platform rules before publication.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable law or infringe others’ intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Generate or promote unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or exploitative material.
• Attempt to disrupt the Service, bypass security or rate limits, or scrape or automate access in a way that harms stability or other users.
• Misrepresent AI-generated scripts as wholly human-created where disclosure is required.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these rules or pose a risk to the Service or others.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and AI APIs. Their terms and privacy policies may also apply to your use of those services through us.

8. Intellectual property

Except for your submissions, ScriptoGen AI and its branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

9. Fees

Certain features may be free or paid depending on your plan. Taxes may apply. If we introduce or change fees, we will describe them before they take effect where required.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (US $50), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, and employees against third-party claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, legal requirements, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction we designate for the commercial entity operating the Service, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights you may have in your place of residence.

15. Changes

We may modify these Terms. We will post updates on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.
